Shanghai stocks end up 0.4 pct, gain 6.1 pct in week

SHANGHAI, July 23 (Reuters) – China’s key stock index ended up 0.4 percent on Friday, a fifth day of gains for its biggest weekly increase since last December, on signs that institutional investors remain interested in banking shares.
